Prequalification for procurement of civil engineering & plant equipment contracts

Consecutive to the Call for Expressions of Interest published on 30 April 2015, Nachtigal Amont Consortium, comprising of (i) the International Finance Corporation (IFC), (ii) Electricité de France (EDF), (iii) The State of Cameroon and (iv) Rio Tinto Alcan (RTA) prequalified the following consortiums for Nachtigal Amont hydroelectric project (in the Republic of Cameroon), with an installed capacity of 420 MW:

LOT GC1 : Terrassements généraux, génie civil et équipements des ouvrages amont et du canal d’amenée :

1. Razel BEC (representative – France) / Sogea Satom (France)  / Vinci Construction Grands Projets (France)
2. NGE Contracting (representative – France) / SGTM (Morocco)

LOT GC2 : Génie civil des ouvrages aval, conduites forcées et équipements hydromécaniques des adductions aval :

1. Besix (representative – Belgium) / Six International (Cameroon) / Tractebel Engineering (France)
2. Vinci Construction Grands Projets (representative - France) / Razel BEC  (France) / Sogea Satom (France)
3. NGE Contracting (representative – France) / SGTM (Morocco)

LOT EM1 : Equipements de la Centrale

1. Andritz Hydro GmbH (Germany - representative) / Andritz Hydro GmbH (Austria)
2. Toshiba Corporation (Japan - representative) / Clemessy S.A. (France)
3. Alstom Hydro France (France)
